Here we are again – another sunny day in Fremantle. The end of the year is almost upon us, and a time for reflection is appropriate. Last month, I took some photos at the funeral of a friend’s father. While it was a sombre event there was some beautiful heartfelt a-cappella singing, and a wake afterwards with music, drinks and a good atmosphere. It was held at the Swan Yacht Club down on the river in East Fremantle. A very maritime affair, and loving remembrance of a good man.
